How it works
A Warmer Homes Assessment is a thorough walk-through of your property, conducted together with you. We start indoors, moving through each room to discuss how your home is currently performing. We’ll look at the effectiveness of your insulation, identify where heat might be escaping, and evaluate your heating, moisture management, among other things.
We’ll also chat about simple lifestyle changes that can make a big difference—like how you use your curtains, fans, and ventilation to keep the air fresh and warm.
Then it's outside to inspect the building envelope. We’ll check the walls, windows, drainage, underfloor insulation and any visible gaps where heat could be leaking out or moisture could be getting in.
Report with recommendations
Following our assessment, you’ll receive a report with a summary of recommendations to improve the performance of your home. These recommendations are ranked by priority, giving you a practical roadmap for improving your home's energy performance.
The result is a clear, practical action plan tailored specifically to your home, not a one-size-fits-all checklist.
Our goal is not just to provide a report, but to leave you feeling informed, empowered, and confident about the next steps for your home.
Our advice is completely independent, not linked to any product or service suppliers, ensuring unbiased recommendations.
